Nouns

Nouns
to the tune of “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star”
We have learned that nouns are fun,
persons, places and many things.
Any person, place or thing
is a Noun for us to use.
We can use these nouns to speak
or write them in
sen-ten-ces.

Counting to 5

(To the tune of
“B-I-N-G-O”)
We like to count all the way to 5,
and counting’s what we do.
1-2-3-4-5
(show number of fingers for each number)
1-2-3-4-5
(clap for each number)
1-2-3-4-5
(stomp for each number)
and we can count to 5.
Yeah!
(repeat several times)

S-A-N-T-A

S-A-N-T-A
(to the tune of B-I-N-G=O)
I know a man with a long white beard
and Santa is his name-o
S-A-N-T-A
S-A-N-T-A
S-A-N-T-A
And Santa is his name-o!
He slides down the chimney with a pack on his back
and santa is his name-o
S-A-N-T-A
S-A-N-T-A
S-A-N-T-A
And Santa is his name-o!
Eight little reindeer pull his sleigh
and Santa is his name-o
S-A-N-T-A
S-A-N-T-A
S-A-N-T-A
And Santa is his name-o!

Money Poem

Penny, Penny,
Easily Spent.
Copper Brown
And worth one cent.
Nickel, Nickel,
Thick and Fat.
You're worth 5 cents,
I know that!
Dime, Dime,
Little and thin.
I remember
You're worth 10!
Quarter, Quarter,
Big and Bold.
You're worth 25
I am told!
Half a dollar, half a dollar,
Giant size.
5o cents to buy some fries.
Dollar, dollar, green and long.
With 100 cents, you can't go wrong.

Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer

You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen,
Comet and Cupid and Donder and Blitzen.
But do you recall,
The most famous reindeer of all?

Rudolph the red nosed reindeer,
Had a very shiny nose.
And if you ever saw it,
You even say it glowed.
All of the other reindeer,
Use to laugh and call him names.
They never let poor Rudolph,
Join in any reindeer games.

Then one foggy Christmas Eve,
Santa came to say.
"Rudolph with your nose so bright,
Won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"

Then how the reindeer loved him,
As they shouted out with glee.
Rudolph the red nosed reindeer,
You'll go down in history.

Reindeer Pokey

(tune: "Hokey Pokey")

You put your antlers in.
You take your antlers out.
You put your antlers in,
And you shake them all about.
You do the Reindeer Pokey,
And you turn yourself around.
That's what it's all about!

You put your right hoof in....
You put your left hoof in ...
You put your red nose in....
You put your fluffy tail in...
You put your reindeer body in...

Five Little Turkeys

Five little turkeys by the barn door
One waddled off, then there were four.
Four little turkeys out under the tree
One waddled off, then there were three.
Three little turkeys with nothing to do
One waddled off, then there were two.
Two little turkeys in the noonday sun
One waddled off, there there was one.
One little turkey - better run away!
Soon will come Thanksgiving Day.
