Telling Time

Telling Time
(To the tune of The Wheels on the Bus)
The short hand says its number first,
Number first, number first,
The short hand says its number first,
When we’re telling time.
The long hand is tall and counts by five,
Counts by five, counts by five.
The long hand is tall and counts by five,
When we’re telling time.

This is a Circle

This is a Circle
(to the tune of We Will Rock You)
This is circumference, all around the side.
This is the radius, the middle to the side.
This is the diameter, all the way through.
All of that's a circle, I'll show it to you!

Odd & Even Song

(to the tune of BINGO)

There was a farmer who had a pig,
And Even was his name-o.
0, 2, 4, 6, 8; 0, 2, 4, 6, 8; 0, 2, 4, 6, 8;
And Even was his name-o.

There was a farmer who had a cow,
And Odd was her name-o.
1, 3, 5, 7, 9; 1, 3, 5, 7, 9; 1, 3, 5, 7, 9;
and Odd was her name-o.

When the Numbers March Right In!

(To the Tune of: When the Saints Go Marching In)
Oh, When the numbers march right in,
Oh, when the numbers march right in.
We will count them one by one,
When the numbers march right in.
Oh, one-two-three
and Four-five-six,
And Seven-eight and nine and ten.
When we finish all our numbers,
We will count them once again.

I Can Count

(to the tune of Hokey Pokey)

You put one finger up

You put one finger down

You put one finger up

And you shake it all around

You give it a shakey-shakey

And you turn it all about

That's how you learn to count!

(continue singing about as many number as desired)

Fraction Song

(To the Tune of “On Top of Old Smokey”)
On top of a fraction,What will you find?
It’s the numerator,Up over the line.
Then on the bottom,
Look and you’ll see

Down where it should be.

I Will Divide

I Will Divide
to the tune of "I Will Survive."
I take the number, outside the box
I try to guess how many times it'll fit inside that box
Then I write my guess above
Multiply the two numbers
Then I subtract
Bring it down and start again
I will divide
Hey hey

Counting to 5

(To the tune of
“B-I-N-G-O”)
We like to count all the way to 5,
and counting’s what we do.
1-2-3-4-5
(show number of fingers for each number)
1-2-3-4-5
(clap for each number)
1-2-3-4-5
(stomp for each number)
and we can count to 5.
Yeah!
(repeat several times)
